P11D Enterprise Software Update v15.2

The P11D Enterprise v15.2 (2008/2009) is now available.

If you have automatic updates configured your software will update the next time you login. Alternatively you can download the update by clicking here and then running the downloaded 'P11D_15_2_setup.exe'. You can also phone P11D support on 0808 100 7113 to request a CD.

Please remember to update all computers using the software, and check that the version number is shown as 15.2 when the software is run.

v15.2 update includes the following main enhancements and fixes:

Loans
  • In some circumstances the 'Start amount' for a loan on a printed P11D may appear as the same figure as the 'End amount'. The calculated benefit value is correct, it is only the supporting information that appears incorrectly. The employee advice form, online submission and diskette submission are all correct.
Employee Advice
  • The Employee Advice form may format incorrectly if the company name is too long, and page headings may appear incorrectly between employees.
Online Submission
  • Online submission produced an error with certain combinations of manual adjustment to NIC1A amounts.

The update also includes all fixes and enhancements from v15.1 and 15.0

Previous Updates

v15.1 update includes the following main enhancements and fixes:

HMRC Approval
  • P11D/P11D(b)/P9D and P46Car substitute forms have been approved.
  • P11D/P11D(b)/P9D and P46Car Internet Filing Recognition.
Licensing
  • The software licence now restricts the number of employees that have benefits, and not just the number of employees loaded into the software. This allows you to import all employees, even though you may only enter benefits and be licensed for a smaller number.
New Office Based Security
  • Previously each user of the software had to be given access to each company's data individually. For firms of accountants with many clients this could be inconvenient. You can now specify an 'office' for each user, and allocate client companies to offices.
New Supervisor Access
  • A new 'Supervisor' permission can be set for users, which gives read/write access to all companies.
Additional Security Rights
  • Additional security rights have been added, including the ability to allow any staff to perform imports, and to see the statistics screens
New report module for P11D / Employee Advice
  • The P11D and Employee Advice reports are now generated by a new report module which is faster when producing large numbers of forms.
QUALEC
  • For company cars producing 120g/km CO2 or less than there is a new 'QUALEC' category which allows the 'appropriate percentage' to be reduced to 10% (or 13% for some diesel cars).
New Totals on NIC1A Report
  • The calculation of totals on the NIC1A report have been changed to minimise the effect of rounding fractions.
Diskette Submission
  • The diskette submission has been re-introduced for those companies who do not wish to submit online or on paper.
Online Filing Verification Checks
  • HMRC continue to impose additional validations on online filing submissions that did not exist on paper forms, or diskette submissions. The software warns you where data will not be accepted by online filing. This includes a limit of 10 loans per employee, and validation of the NI number so only certain combinations of letters for the first two characters are accepted.

v15.0 update included the following main enhancements and fixes:

P46 (Car)
  • The HMRC have issued a new layout.
New type of fuel category
  • The HMRC have added a new type G fuel category for cars manufactured to be able to run on E85 fuel.
P9D forms
  • This has been included as a main module in version 15.
Employee claim facility
  • A new facility has been developed to produce an Employee Claim Advice form which can provide an employee with information that can be used to complete HMRC form P87 (Tax relief for expenses of employment).
